Why not try these classic American-style ribs!

I do hope you enjoy it!

Ingredients (Serves 4-6)
Method

1 kg American-style pork ribs
2 cups tomato sauce
1/4 cup dry sherry
1/4 cup Worcestershire sause
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 cup soft brown sugar
Tabasco sauce

Preparation time: 15 mins + overnight marinating
Cooking time: 20 mins

1. Cut the racks of ribs into pieces with two or three ribs in each piece.

2. Combine the tomato sause, sherry, Worcestershire sauce, garlic and sugar in a large microwave-safe casserole dish; cook on High (100%) for 5 minutes.

3. Add Tobasco to taste.

4. Arrange the ribs in the sauce in a single layer.

5. Turn the ribs to coat well with the sauce, cover and cook on High (100%) for 7 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.

6. Allow the ribs to cool.

7. Refrigerate overnight or for at least several hours.

8. Remove from the fridge 30 minutes before barbecuing.

9. Place the ribs on a preheated barbecue grill and cook for 5-10 minutes, turning and brushing occasionally with the remaining sauce.
