Here is an exotic and tasty recipe.

Ingredients (Serves 4)
Method


4 pork loin chops
1 tablespoon oil
30g butter
1/4 cup chicken stock
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon finely grated lemon rind
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon finely shredded fresh sage leaves

Preparation time: 5 mins
Cooking time: 20 mins


1. Trim excess fat from the chops.

2. Heat the oil in a frying pan and cook the chops for 5-6 minutes each side over moderate heat.

3. Drain on paper towels, set aside and keep warm on a serving plate covered with foil.

4. Add the butter, stock, juice, rind and sugar to the pan.

5. Stir to combine and bring to the boil.

6. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes.

7. Stir in sage and serve immediately over the chops.

8. Serve with noodles and green beans.
