Daph Kavanagh

An international flavour with tantalizing aromas!

Balinese Style Pork
Exquisite!

Ingredients for 4-6 Serves
Method

500g pork mince
1/3 Cup stale white breadcrumbs (slightly firmly packed
1 apple, peeled, cored and grated
2 tbs finely chopped flat leaf parsley
1 1/2 tbs finely chopped sage
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tbp sea salt
freshly cracked pepper

Combine in bowl - pork mince, breadcrumbs, apple, parsley sage, egg, salt and pepper. Use a clean hand (ideally wear a disposable glove) to mix the ingredients for approximately 2 minutes or until combined.

Shape the pork mixture into 8 sausage shapes. Place onto a plate, cover and chill for 30 minutes. For a more developed flavour allow the sausages to chill overnight before cooking.

Cook pork sausages on a lightly oiled BBQ or grill on medium heat for 15 - 20 minutes, turning occasionally during cooking to lightly brown.

Serve with onion relish, skewered potato kebabs and tomato salad.

(Note: a quick way to achieve breadcrumbs if your bread is too fresh is to use white bread muffins.)

Serves: 4
Preperation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 - 20 minutes
