300g lean pork mince
1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs
1 tbsp fresh parsley and chives, chopped
1 egg
SAUCE
410g canned tomatoes
1 cup water
2 tbs red wine
1/2 cup sliced leek
1 stick celery, sliced
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp paprika
1 tbs fresh oregano
ground black pepper
Preparation time: 20 mins (+ 30 mins chilling time)
Cooking time: 20 mins

- Combine pork mince, breadcrumbs, herbs and egg and mix well. Roll into small balls. Makes approx. 24. Chill for 30 mins.
- To make sauce, combine all ingredients in a saucepan, allow to simmer 15-20 mins.
- Add oregano and season.
- Pan fry pork balls until cooked through and juices are clear and hot. Serve with sauce.
